غزل ۱۱۵۱ مولانا
| ۱ | قَدَح شِکَست و شَرابَم نَمانْد و من مَخْمور | خرابِ کارِ مرا شَمسِ دین کُند مَعْمور |
| ۲ | خَدیوِ عالَمِ بینِش چراغِ عالَمِ کَشْف | که روحْ‌هاش به جان سَجده می‌کنند از دور |
| ۳ | که تا زِ بَحرِ تَحَیُّر بَرآوَرَد دستش | هزار جان و رَوان‌های غَرقه مَغْمور |
| ۴ | گَر آسْمان و زمین پُر شود زِ ظُلْمَت کُفر | چو او بِتابَد پَرتو بگیرد آن همه نور |
| ۵ | ازان صَفا که مَلایِک از او همی‌یابَند | اگر رَسَد به شَیاطین شوند هر یک حور |
| ۶ | وَگَر نباشد آن نورْ دیو را روزی | به پَرده‌های کَرَمْ دیو را کُند مَسْتور |
| ۷ | به روزِ عیدی کو بَخش کردن آغازَد | به هر سوی است عروسی به هر نواحی سور |

| ۱۱- On that wing which you have gotten from him fly; for a thousand years’ journey will not be far from your wing. |
| ۱۲- Fly; and when your wing becomes weary, prostrate yourself for the sake of my state, weary of soul and sundered of heart; |
| ۱۳- Tell him with tears that since the time of our separation, my day has become black and my hairs camphor-white. |
| ۱۴- You are he who dips in the sea of compassion all the sinners of the world, and makes them forgiven. |
| ۱۵- If the seeing eye cannot penetrate to your soul, he who has no eye may truly be excused. |
| ۱۶- So contrive by entreaty as to bring the dust of his feet to the eye, for this sickness is becoming gangrenous. |
| ۱۷- And when, zephyr, you return prospering from this journey, you will stir up commotion and sparks indeed in existence and nonexistence alike. |
| ۱۸- When you bring me his eye salve, may a thousand new compassions be upon your soul for centuries beyond reckoning! |
