غزل ۲۱۳ مولانا
| ۱ | اگر تو عاشقِ عشقیّ و عشق را جویا | بِگیر خَنجَرِ تیز و بِبُر گَلویِ حَیا | |
| ۲ | بدان که سَدِّ عظیم است در رَوشِ ناموس | حَدیثِ بی‌غَرَض است این، قبول کُن به صَفا | |
| ۳ | هزار گونه جُنون از چه کرد آن مَجنون؟ | هزار شَید بَرآوَرْد، آن گُزینِ شَیدا | |
| ۴ | گَهی قَباش دَرید و گَهی به کوه دَوید | گَهی زِ زَهر چَشید و گَهی گُزید فَنا | |
| ۵ | چو عنکبوت چُنان صیدهایِ زَفْت گرفت | بِبین چه صید کُند، دامِ رَبّیَ الاعْلیٰ | |
| ۶ | چو عشقِ چهرهٔ لیلی بدان همه اَرْزید | چگونه باشد اَسْریٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَیْلا | |
| ۷ | ندیده‌یی تو دَواوینِ ویسِه و رامین | نخوانده‌یی تو حِکایاتِ وامِق و عَذْرا | |
| ۸ | تو جامه گِرد کُنی تا زِ آب تَر نشود | هزار غوطه تو را خوردنی‌ست در دریا | |
| ۹ | طَریقِ عشق همه مَستی آمد و پَستی | که سیلْ پَست رَوَد کِی رَوَد سویِ بالا؟ | |
| ۱۰ | میانِ حَلقهٔ عُشّاق چون نِگین باشی | اگر تو حَلْقه به گوشِ تَکینی ای مولا | |
| ۱۱ | چُنان که حَلْقه به گوش است چَرخ را این خاک | چُنان که حَلْقه به گوش است روح را اَعْضا | |
| ۱۲ | بیا بگو چه زیان کرد خاک ازین پیوند؟ | چه لُطف‌ها که نکرده‌ست عقل با اَجْزا؟ | |
| ۱۳ | دُهُل به زیرِ گِلیم ای پسر نَشایَد زد | عَلَم بِزَن چو دلیرانْ میانهٔ صحرا | |
| ۱۴ | به گوشِ جان بِشِنو از غَریوِ مُشتاقان | هزار غُلْغُله در جَوِّ گُنبَدِ خَضْرا | |
| ۱۵ | چو بَرگُشایَد بَندِ قَبا زِ مَستیْ عشق | تو های و هویِ مَلَک بین و حیرتِ حورا | |
| ۱۶ | چه اِضْطِراب که بالا و زیرِ عالَم راست | زِ عشق، کوست مُنَزَّه زِ زیر و از بالا | |
| ۱۷ | چو آفتاب بَرآمَد، کجا بِمانَد شب؟ | رَسید جَیشِ عِنایَت، کجا بِمانْد عَنا؟ | |

| ۱۰- You will be as a bezel in the lovers’ ring, if you are the ear-ringed slave of the king, my master; |
| ۱۱- Just as this earth is thrall to the sky, just as the body is thrall to the spirit. |
| ۱۲- Come, say, what loss did earth suffer from this bond? What kindnesses has not reason done to the members? |
| ۱۳- My son, it behoves not to beat the drum under a blanket; plant your flag like a brave warrior in the midst of the plain. |
| ۱۴- With your spirit’s ear listen to the thousand tumults echoing in the green dome’s air from the clamour of the passionate ones! |
| ۱۵- When the cords of your robe are loosened by Love’s intoxication, behold then the angel’s rapture, the houri’s amazement! |
| ۱۶- How all the world trembles, on high and below, because of Love, which transcends all below and on high! |
| ۱۷- When the sun has arisen, where then remains night? When the army of grace has come, where then remains affliction? |
| ۱۸- I fell silent; Soul of the soul, do you speak, for every atom has grown articulate out of love for your face. |
