غزل ۴۴۶ مولانا
| ۱ | گَر چپ و راست طَعْنه و تَشْنیع بیهُده‌ست | از عشق بَرنگردد آن کَس که دِلْشُده‌ست | |
| ۲ | مَهْ نور می‌فَشانَد و سگ بانگ می‌کُند | مَهْ را چه جُرم؟ خاصیتِ سگ چُنین بُدَه‌ست | |
| ۳ | کوه است نیست کَهْ که به بادی زِ جا رَوَد | آن گَلِّهٔ پَشه‌ست که بادیش رَهْ زده‌ست | |
| ۴ | گَر قاعده‌ست این که مَلامَت بُوَد زِ عشق | کَرّیِ گوشِ عشقْ ازان نیز قاعِده‌ست | |

| ۱۱- Though you should utter verse and prose like Ja’fari gold, there where Ja’far is it is all worthless tales. |
