| ۱ | دیدم رُخِ خوبِ گُلْشَنی را | آن چَشم و چراغِ روشنی را | |
| ۲ | آن قبله و سَجْده گاهِ جان را | آن عِشرت و جایِ ایمِنی را | |
| ۳ | دل گفت که جان سِپارَم آن جا | بُگْذارم هستی و مَنی را | |
| ۴ | جان هم به سَماعْ اَنْدَرآمد | آغاز نَهاد کَف زَنی را | |
| ۵ | عقل آمد و گفت من چه گویم؟ | این بَخت و سَعادتِ سَنی را | |
| ۶ | این بویِ گُلی که کرد چون سَرو | هر پُشتْ دوتایِ مُنحنی را | |
| ۷ | در عشقْ بَدَل شود همه چیز | تُرکی سازند اَرمَنی را | |

| ۱۴- In the heart’s house is delivered that bowl of wholesome and everlasting wine. |
| ۱۵- Be silent, and practise the art of silence; let go all artful bragging; |
| ۱۶- For the heart is the place of faith, there in the heart hold fast to faithfulness. |
