غزل ۱۶۶۳ مولانا

۱	نو به نو هر روز باری می‌کَشَم	وینْ بَلا از بَهرِ کاری می‌کَشَم
۲	زَحْمَتِ سرما و برفِ ماهِ دِیْ	بر امیدِ نوبهاری می‌کَشَم
۳	پیشِ آن فَربه کُنِ هر لاغَری	این چُنین جسمِ نِزاری می‌کَشَم
۴	از دو صد شهرم اگر بیرون کنند	بَهرِ عشقِ شهریاری می‌کَشَم
۵	گَر دُکان و خانه‌‌‌ام ویران شود	بر وَفایِ لاله زاری می‌کَشَم
۶	عشقِ یَزدان بَس حِصاری مُحکَم است	رَختِ جان اَنْدَر حِصاری می‌کَشَم
۷	نازِ هر بیگانهٔ سنگین دلی	بَهرِ یاری بُردباری می‌کَشَم
۸	بَهرِ لَعْلَش کوه و کانی می‌کُنم	بَهرِ آن گُل بارِ خاری می‌کَشَم
۹	بَهرِ آن دو نَرگسِ مَخْمورِ او	هَمچو مَخْموران خُماری می‌کَشَم
۱۰	بَهرِ صیدی کو‌ نمی‌گُنجَد به دام	دام و داهولِ شکاری می‌کَشَم
۱۱	گفت این غَم تا قیامَت می‌کشی؟	می‌کَشم ای دوست آری می‌کَشَم
۱۲	سینه غار و شَمسِ تبریزی‌ست یار	سُخره بَهرِ یارِ غاری می‌کَشَم

۱- Every day I bear a burden, and I bear this calamity for a purpose:

۲- I bear the discomfort of cold and December’s snow in hope of spring.

۳- Before the fattener-up of all who are lean, I drag this so emaciated body;

۴- Though they expel me from two hundred cities, I bear it for the sake of the love of a prince;

۵- Though my shop and house be laid waste, I bear it in fidelity to a tulip bed.

۶- God’s love is a very strong fortress; I carry my soul’s baggage inside a fortress.

۷- I bear the arrogance of every stonehearted stranger for the sake of a friend, of one long-suffering;

۸- For the sake of his ruby I dig out mountain and mine; for the sake of that rose-laden one I endure a thorn.

۹- For the sake of those two intoxicating eyes of his, like the intoxicated I endure crop sickness

۱۰- For the sake of a quarry not to be contained in a snare, I spread out the snare and decoy of the hunter.

۱۱- He said, “Will you bear this sorrow till the Resurrection?” Yes, Friend, I bear it, I bear it.

۱۲- My breast is the Cave and Shams-i Tabrīzī is the Companion of the Cave. I bear ridicule for the sake of the Companion of the Cave.
