| ۱ | وَقتِ آن شُد که به زَنجیرِ تو دیوانه شویم | بَند را بَرگُسِلیم از همه بیگانه شویم | |
| ۲ | جانْ سِپاریم دِگَر نَنگِ چُنین جانْ نکَشیم | خانه سوزیم و چو آتشْ سویِ میخانه شویم | |
| ۳ | تا نَجوشیم ازین خُنْبِ جهان بَرناییم | کِی حَریفِ لبِ آن ساغَر و پیمانه شویم؟ | |
| ۴ | سُخَنِ راستْ تو از مَردمِ دیوانه شِنو | تا نمیریم مَپِنْدار که مَردانه شویم | |
| ۵ | در سَرِ زُلفِ سعادت که شِکَن در شِکَن است | واجِب آید که نگون‌تَر زِ سَرِ شانه شویم | |
| ۶ | بال و پَر باز گُشاییم به بُستانْ چو درخت | گَر دَرین راهِ فَنا ریخته چون دانه شویم | |

| ۱۲- If Mustafā does not make his way and couch in our hearts, it is meet that we should lament and become like the Wailing Column. |
| ۱۳- No, be silent; for one must observe silence towards the watchman when we go towards the pavilion by night. |
